 Hello everyone,    Editing in film is a process that consist of arranging and modifying the shots taken from production. This used to create a finished film. It allows filmmakers the ability to craft a story and control the pacing to keep the audience engaged. The main purpose of this is to make sure the filmmaker idea/story are presented to the audience in a clear way.     Me and my teammate used editing to approach storytelling by including the title, credits, company production logo, color, and theme. To do this I used WeVideo as my editing tool. Here I was able to cut some scenes and add transitions, so my scenes casually flowed with the next scene. I added some Jump cuts to keep my audience engaged.     Since my group just consisted of me and one other person, we decided for me to be the primary editor.  Hello everyone,    I will be showing you our fourth day of production. This was our final day of filming. We just had to do two things. We had to film one more scene and then redo one of our scenes from the previous days. Since it was just two scenes, we stayed there only for fifteen minutes. Here are some of our clips:

Hello everyone,    This was a second day of production week. We were able to get a lot of work done and are almost ready to start editing. We had less bloopers than the first day which is good. I did not expect that being a camera person would be hard. The tracking shot was pretty hard to film as I had to squat and walk while filming. We also had some difficulty with lighting, but we were able to fix it with a flashlight and when we start editing it. Here are some bloopers.

 Hello everyone,    A film pitch is when the screenwriter presents a movie idea to people who can produce it and help finance it. It is important to pitch a movie to an audience before producing a film because it gives you an idea of the movie will succeed. The people who you produce your movie will give you feedback and critics for your movie. This helps you to fix your movie, so it would be a movie that could succeed in the film industry. Film producers engage with their audience by representing them. For example, if you want to target teenagers as your audience then you will showcase teenagers in your movie. To recognize a film opening convention you would see the credits, protagonist, antagonist, exposition, and mise en scene. Most likely you would see an establishing shot and be introduced to a conflict.  This is what our movie is about. This the feedback that we had received from another group.

 Hello everyone,    For this part of our planning document, me and my teammate created an arc shot list. This is where we would state how each major scene would look like. To do this we added the type of camera shot size, shot angle, composition, framing, movement, and sound. We also included the action line. This will help us plan out each major scene, so we will be prepared during filming days.
